BRAIN-Robotics Lab

The BRAIN-Robotics lab concentrates on bio-inspired robotics and embodied artificial intelligence. Research focus areas also cover neural control with learning and memory for robotics, machine learning for robotics, autonomous lifelong learning, biomechanics, soft robotics, service robotics, medical robotics, assistive systems (exoskeletons), explainable artificial intelligence, human-robot interaction.

We also aim to develop “BRAIN technology” based on bio-inspired robotics and neural engineering. The technology will be used for advanced human-machine interaction.

Our research results have been featured in news outlets including IEEE Spectrum (Video Friday) and TechXplore, as well as on the cover pages of several top journals.
